From 1 March 2011, the Training Assistance Scheme for Accredited Home Sustainability
Assessors is open and accepting applications.
The $15 million Training Assistance Scheme will assist accredited assessors to further develop their professional skills and credentials.
It will provide a refund of 50 per cent of the tuition fees (up to $2500 GST inclusive) for accredited assessors who enrol in the new Certificate IV in Home Sustainability Assessment.
Payments will be available to eligible applicants who enrol in, and pay for, a Certificate IV Home Sustainability Assessment course that commences before 30 June 2012.

For information relating to what Registered Training Organisations are currently offering the Certificate IV in Home Sustainability, please follow these instructions:
1. Visit the training.gov.au search engine
2. Select ‘Search by scope’
3. Copy ‘CPP41110’ and paste in into the search field
4. Click ‘Search’.
You will now be able to view a list of Registered Training Organisations that currently have the course within their scope of registration and are approved to offer it. For information on course availability, please contact the Registered Training Organisation directly.

You should read the Training Assistance Scheme for Accredited Home Sustainability Assessors Guidelines to ensure you understand all eligibility requirements before applying.
Original or clear and readable certified copies are required to support your application.

Use this form if you have just enrolled in the Certificate IV Home Sustainability Assessment and want to make an application in relation to this course.
Do not use this form if you are claiming reimbursement for costs incurred in becoming a Green Loans Contracted Assessor. Please refer to the Financial Assistance Scheme if you
wish to find out about assistance available for uncontracted assessors.

Please also note that the applications forms are available as fillable PDFs only. As such, you can only complete the forms on your computer (but you cannot save) or you may print and complete by hand.
